My name is William, and welcome to my site and the way I see the world.
In my practice, photography is a tool for constructing identity, navigating memory, and staging the real. I work across fine art, fashion, editorial, and self-portraiture—often blending these genres to create images that feel both intimate and theatrical.
My work explores themes of performance, queerness, Americana, and personal mythology, as seen in long-term projects like
INTERSTATES,
Of objects masked & omitted, and
William’s Summer of Rest & Relaxation.
Whether capturing collaborators in editorial shoots for TFN and CFE or reflecting inward through ongoing self-portraiture and
Digital Camera Diaries, I approach each frame as a site of transformation and authorship.
