By engaging with archives, found materials, and personal narratives, their sculptures examine how objects hold memories and mediate relationships. Inspired by queer semiotics, they imbue traditional forms with coded symbols that challenge dominant cultural readings, reimagining the mundane as sites of resistance and storytelling. Their sculptural works often function as tactile archives, bridging the personal and collective to interrogate the intersections of identity, history, and materiality. Whether through delicate assemblages or monumental installations, William’s sculptures transform static objects into living narratives, inviting viewers to consider how materials shape—and are shaped by—memory, identity, and belonging.
